Late Night Rock n' Bowl

Splitsville!

The next event on the calendar was the Late Night Rock n' Bowl sponsored by The Michigan Republican Senators.  It was held at Splitsville Luxury Lanes & Dinner Lounge.  It was a long wait for the shuttle.  We should have walked.

Splitsville is only .6 miles from the hotel, but the shuttle must have driven 5 or 6 miles to get there.  It was clear the driver had no idea where he was going.  We just went around in circles.  To make matters worse, there was a "heated discussion" with several people on the crowded bus.  The Romney vs Ron Paul typical discussion.  Cindy was ready to jump out a window!  I wisely chose to stay out of it...

Here I am showing off the bowling shirts they gave everyone.  On the back it says Senate Republicans.  Cindy bowled only one game.  I managed two.  But my high game of 180 could not beat Marco Lollio's 194.  Not bad with a house ball :)

Our special guests for the evening were Mitt Romney's brother Scott (far right in the picture) and Mitt's son Tagg.

Tagg spoke of the importance of Michigan.  How the campaign sees Michigan as winnable and asked us all to work hard when we get back to put Michigan in the win column on election day.
